Hydrocele Masking Testicular Tumour With Extensive Nodal Disease: A Case Report and Literature Review

Hydrocele is one of the most common causes scrotal swellings. Fluid accumulation within tunica vaginalis, a remnant peritoneum covering testicle, leads to swelling. It known be benign condition with no subsequent complications apart from increasing in size causing discomfort. Some patients could cope swelling effect and continue their life desire for further management while others are not fit surgical intervention would treated conservatively same concept. However, once testicle becomes swollen by surrounding fluid, it difficult examine itself even an expert physician. We present here 46-year-old patient who has been diagnosed right hydrocele long time. The noticed general weakness loss weight. Initial investigations showed iron deficiency anemia imaging retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy. Eventually, testicular ultrasonography tumour that was masked hydrocele, resulting delayed presentation metastatic cancer.
